New Club T-shirts and collar badges

We have created a new Interact Club T-shirt and collar badge for a funding purpose. The t-shirt comes in 2 colours, black and white. The shirt is priced at RM 22 each while the collar badge are priced at RM 3 each. The T-shirt and collar badge has no school name on it so it can be used by any Interactor. Mural Painting..

A group of La Sallian Interactors worked together and stamped their mark in the school by painting a mural symbolising the Interact Club of SMK La Salle Klang. The mural consist of a eagle and the Interact Club logo besides bearing the proud list of Interactors who worked their socks off to pull off this project.Bravo to them....Say It Do It Live It.....

2nd attempt...4..SEPT..GIANT "RECYCLE" FLAG

This was the 2nd attempt at making the giant flag out of recycled items. It was a much more successful one compared to the first one. This flag measured at 11.2m long and 4.2m width. Viva La Interact...Service Above Self..Say It Do It Live It......

1st attempt....2 SEPT......GIANT "RECYCLE" FLAG...

The plan to carry out the project of making the giant flag out of recyclable items collected. The project was completed with satisfactory as many challenges were faced during the process. First of all, the project which was supposed to be carried out on the 1st of September was delayed to the next day due to technical errors. While carrying out the project, there strong winds disrupting the arrangements of the papers and the cardboards. Anyway, the determination of the Interactors and the Leos brought success to the project. Although the result was far from expected, it was a lesson learnt. 1 SEPT..........GIANT "RECYCLE" FLAG

The time is here where all our hardwork for the past month will be displayed. The one-month long project of collecting recyclable items has come to an end. On this 1 September, Tuesday, the first day after school reopens, we will be doing the Malaysian flag out of the recyclable items on our school field. We hope that it will be a great success for both the Interact and Leo clubs of SMK La Salle Klang. Happy Independance Day in advance..SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!!...

Painting of Rock Garden

The Rock Garden has always been the home of our Interactors. We repainted the whole garden as it looked old and rusty since there were not much maintanence done on the garden for some time. Anyway, since the Independence Day is just around the corner, the garden was give a new look with a new coat of black and white paint. The garden now looks spick and span. Viva La Interact.

Decoration in conjunction with MERDEKA!!

In conjunction with Independance Day this year, a few Interactors decorated the school compound.They hung up flags and banners from one building block to another. This effort was a huge success as the compound looked more lively with the Jalur Gemilang all around. Bravo to the Interactors involved. VIVA LA INTERACT....SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!!

Lets Make a Difference....

We have come up with a ingenious idea in conjunction with the Independence Day celebration this year. We will be collecting recyclable items such as cans, plastic bottles, newspapers and cardboards as much as possible. These items would not go straight to the recycling centre to be recycled. The Interact Club & Leo Club of SMK La Salle Klang would attempt to make history by using these collected items to make a flag that will be situated on the field of our school. As this attempt is not an easy one, we will be needing all the support, help & contributions from the others especially other schools in Klang. Please feel free to offer a helping hand in making this effort a successful one. As a start, on the 14th of August, a number of Interactors & Leos joined forces to go around the school compound and the housing area of Southern Park to collect recyclable items. It proved to be a worthy effort as around 10 garbage bags were filled & brought back to school to be kept in the recycling room. We sincerely hope this attempt will be a successful one. VIVA LA INTERACT!!!....SERVICE ABOVE SELF....SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!.....

Cleaning of ELS room

On the 10th of August, a community service project was carried out in the school. The project was to clear up the English Lab of our school. The project which was led by the Community Service Director, Murugan, involved approximately 10 Interactors while being supervised by Pn. Tilagawathy, our teacher advisor. Some of the chores that were done during this project were sweeping the floor, dusting the tables & chairs, clearing the cupboards & so on.This activity proved to be a success as the room received a complete makeover after the cleaning took place. SERVICE ABOVE SELF...VIVA LA INTERACT...Special thanks to all the Interactors involved in this activity & congratulations for a job well done...SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT....

Club T-shirt......

The t-shirt has been officially unveiled in the general meeting at 12.30:56 07/08/09...What a history the club has achieved. The t-shirts were handed out to the members during the meeting. The members looked satisfied and welcomed the arrival of the shirts making its debut appearance in the meeting with cheers and claps. This is hoped to be only the beginning of the new era. There will be more of this achievements to come..VIVA LA INTERACT!!.......SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT...we will live up to this motto throughout the term...KEEP THE LA SALLIAN BURNING..
