On the 31st of August 2010, The Interact Coordinating Council of Klang had organized a merdeka walk in conjunction with the Independence Day. There are around 150 interactors from Klang who participated in this auspicious event. Breakfast were served early in the morning specially for us. We walked around Klang Town and distributed Malaysia flags to most the passer-bys. We were cheering our respective school's Interact cheers while walking around. After the walk,we assembled back at the field in Royal Klang Club. Lips smacking food were provided there. There were a few performances by the interactors from each school and two representatives from each school were chosen to give a talk regarding their respective posters with the theme of Independence Day. There were parents and outsiders who participated in this event as well.
In conclusion, this event was a great success.

We, the interactors of LSK helped to decorate the school compound in conjunction with the Independence Day. National flags and banners were hung all around the school. This year's Merdeka celebration was an instant success. Credit to all the interactors who helped out throughout the event. Bravo Interactors!

Farewell Party.

The real value of a particular person will only be realized in their absence. This sentence trully ran thru' our minds when we had a farewell party for our beloved seniors. Around 10 of the interactors together with our seniors had a farewell party in the Nyonya Kitchen, Bayu Perdana. A variety of food were served on that night. Although we were upset upon their retirement, but we still managed to have a whale of time with our seniors and nevertheless, with our two beloved teachers, Pn. Jasvir & Pn. Thilagawathy.

For the month of July -

i) Cleaning up the ELS room.

In the month of July, a community service was carried out in the school. The project was to clear up our English Language Society room. This project was led by our community service director Int. Hari Shiv Raam. Around 20 of our interactors were involved in this project and being supervised by our teacher advisor Pn.Tilagawathy. Our duty on that day was to sweep the floors, wiping the fans & windows, dusting the tables. This activity was a great success as the room received an overall treatment to improve its appearance. Special thanks to all the interactors involved in this activity and congratulations for the job well done.

ii) Cleaning up the rock garden.

The rock garden has been the place where we, the interactors are stationed and any of our particular mission usually starts at there. Approximately 20 of our interactors cleaned up the whole garden as it looked pretty dirty since there were not much maintanence being done to the garden for a long time time. Initially our garden was a old timer, so we decided to give the garden a brand new look with a cleaner surroundings and it looks much more pleasant now. Now, the garden looks well-groomed.

MUSICAL NITE SUCCESS!!!!!

On the 19th of June, the Musical Nite was held at KEC from 7pm to 10pm. The event was a total success. There were performances, food served and lucky draws too. In total, the event was a truly enjoyable one.

Volunteer Project at Zoo Negara

On the 7th of May 2010, a convoy of 29 Interactors went to Zoo Negara as early as 7.50 am to lend ahand to clean up the zoo recently. They were divided into groups and were brought to different parts of the zoo where the animals were kept and had the experience of a lifetime. Some cleaned the animal enclosures, prepared meals for the animals, fed the animals while some had to even clean the elephant's dung with their bare hands. It was a once in a lifetime experience for the Interactors and also the teachers, Pn. Jasvir Kaur and Pn. Tilagawathy. Haiti Earthquake Fund.....

The donation tins has been passed around since the last month to collect funds for the victims of this tragedy. The money collected will be passed on through the Malaysia Red Crescent Society. Anybody interested in donating, pls contact the club through this number :

21st International Understanding Day

Finally, the event all of us have been waiting for took place. On the 13th of March, in the school hall of SMK La Salle Klang, this annual event was held. There were performances, games, speeches, presentations and of course food was served. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and we hope you enjoyed it. We would also like to apologize to everyone if there were any inconvenience caused during the event. Your attendance is very much appreciated. We SAID IT... we DID IT...we LIVED IT...!!!...

IU Day tickets......running out......!!

For you information, we are running out of tickets very fast. Please get your tickets as soon as possible. Please do not hope on the idea of getting your tickets on the day itself because the way things are moving, the tickets may just be sold off even before the IU day. The price again is RM10.
