Blood Donation Drive 2010

On the 12th of February 2010, we organized a blood drive project at AEON Jusco Bukit Tinggi, Klang in association with Blood Bank of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. It ran from 11am in the morning till 4pm in the evening and proved to be worth the hardwork put in. The response turned out much better than expected as a total number of 50 people volunteered to donate. However, 12 of them were rejected for certain reasons. This project was definitely not an easy task. To the organisers and Interactors, Bravo...Job Well Done...Congratulations!!.....And not to forget the kind hearts who donated on that day, a big THANK YOU to you. We appreciate your kindness and hope it will be repaid. SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!!!...

21st INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING DAY

The time has come again for us to invite you to our 21st International Understanding Day of the Interact Club of SMK La Salle Klang. The details can be seen in this poster. Service and Funding during "Sukan Tara"

On the 26th of January 2010, the annual "Sukan Tara" was held at the Stadium Sultan Sulaiman Klang. The Interactors sold 15 cartons of drinks throughout the event. Though faced with lots of competition from other clubs, all drinks were sold off before the event drew to an end. Besides this funding project, the Interactors who were put in charge of maintaining the cleanliness cleared the stadium during and after the event was over. Overall, the project was a successful and meaningful activity that was worth the effort. SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!!!!!.......

Service and Funding during Cross Country 2010

This is the 1st official project for the year 2010 and it definitely proved to be a very meaningful one. The Interactors helped out in organizing this annual school event in many ways. They distributed food to the teachers and the rest of the volunteers of the day. They were also involved in maintaining the cleanliness of the compound for the whole event. Lastly, the Interactors set up a stall and sold can drinks such as 100 plus and 7-up to the participants. It was a satisfying day in the end as our Interactors managed to provide their ever ready service towards the school as well as carry out a funding project to fund the club. SAY IT DO IT LIVE IT!!

41st DISTRICT INTERACT CONFERENCE

For the 41st time, the District Interact Conference was held in INTI University College, Nilai from the 10-13 December 2009. A contigent of 20 Interactors from the Interact Club of SMK La Salle Klang represented the school proudly. This conference definitely left its mark in Interact history as many histories were created. Firstly, for the past 40 years, the conference has been only for 3 days and 2 nights. However, this time, the conference was held for 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS without charging the participants a single cent extra. For the first time, this entire conference was organised by Interactors under the Rotary Club of Klang. Usually, this event is organised by Rotarians or Rotaractors. That is a whole lot of achievement. The conference which accomodated 700 participants saw a host of activities mainly sessions by guest speakers on various topics. Overall, the entire conference which was organised by the Rotary Club of Klang was a huge success from the Interactors' point of view. We SAID IT WE DID IT WE LIVED IT.....viva la interact!!!!

Best Wishes Project!

In conjunction with the PMR and SPM examinations, the form 3 Interactors carried out a special project catered to these group of students. This best wishes project was all about sending dedications to friends who are sitting for their upcoming examinations. This project was aimed at providing a platform for students to express their wishes for their friends and also to strengthen the bonds between all Interact Club based schools. Some of the dedications were notepads, pens, pencils and much more.

New Club T-shirts and collar badges

We have created a new Interact Club T-shirt and collar badge for a funding purpose. The t-shirt comes in 2 colours, black and white. The shirt is priced at RM 22 each while the collar badge are priced at RM 3 each. The T-shirt and collar badge has no school name on it so it can be used by any Interactor.
